1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the iOS app God Focus (the “App”), provided by Oleg Pyshenkin (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Apple Standard EULA
Your license to use the App is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”):
If these Terms conflict with Apple’s Standard EULA, the terms required by Apple control to the extent of the conflict.
3. The App
God Focus is a spiritual and productivity tool. It helps you put Scripture and prayer before distracting apps through scheduled Faith Pauses. You choose protected apps using Apple Screen Time, choose Faith Pause times, and, when a pause is active, selected apps may be paused with Apple’s Screen Time shield.
When you start an authorized Faith Pause from a blocked-app flow, the App is designed to move through Scripture, then prayer, then unlock. The App also includes Bible reading, Discover Scripture, 90 Days with Scripture, streaks, saved verses, and optional Faith Reminders.
God Focus does not require a user account or social profile.
4. Eligibility and Device Requirements
The App is designed for iPhone and requires iOS 17.0 or later. It is available in English and Spanish. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device, operating system, and Apple ID as needed for App Store downloads, subscriptions, and restores.
5. Screen Time and Faith Pauses
Faith Pauses depend on Apple’s Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity, and related Screen Time APIs, together with your device settings, permissions, schedules, and iOS system behavior. The App uses individual Family Controls authorization. It is not a child-monitoring, parental-surveillance, or employee-monitoring product.
Protected-app identities and FamilyControls tokens used for shielding stay on your device. Availability and behavior may vary based on iOS, system permissions, Apple API changes, background activity, and other factors outside our control. The App cannot guarantee uninterrupted, perfect, or error-free pausing in every circumstance.
6. Scripture, Prayer, and Unlock Limitations
After you complete an authorized Faith Pause, the App may unlock the temporarily paused application according to the current version of the App and iOS behavior. Unlock duration and return-to-app behavior can vary. If a paused app does not reopen automatically, you may need to open it yourself.
God Focus does not promise unlimited unlock behavior, reduced social-media use, or any particular spiritual or wellbeing result.
7. Free Features and God Focus Pro
The App may offer free functionality and an optional God Focus Pro subscription. Pro features, limits, and availability may change over time. Subscription status is determined through Apple and StoreKit, including verified entitlement state and any local subscription-status cache used by the App.
8. Purchases and Subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, and plan details are provided dynamically by Apple and shown at the time of purchase. We do not set fixed public prices on this website.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, subject to Apple’s rules. Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
9. Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds
All billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund processing for subscriptions are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple’s subscription management interface, including iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Apple to stop future charges. Refund eligibility and processing are controlled by Apple, not by us.
10. Restore Purchases
You can restore eligible purchases associated with your Apple ID from the App’s settings. Use the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.
11. Spiritual and Wellness Disclaimer
The App is a spiritual habit and productivity tool. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, pastoral, or emergency advice. It does not guarantee spiritual growth, reduced screen time, reduced addiction, productivity, emotional improvement, or any other specific result.
12. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the App, attempt to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, use it unlawfully, or infringe the rights of others.
13. Intellectual Property and Scripture Content
The App, its design, branding, original text, illustrations, code, and other original materials are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Scripture quotations and third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders where applicable.
14. Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App, including free and Pro features, subscription offerings, Faith Pause behavior, and Bible features. We do not promise that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
15. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, except warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of use, or losses resulting from reliance on the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
